Janet and John have had a great Christmas, they have exchanged presents, played games and like a lot of people have eaten and drunk more than they should. One of the highlights for Janet was watching the film Up which for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet is a must. Janet and John have both enjoyed the festivities but are mightily relieved that it’s almost over, quite frankly they are all Christmased out. As John will have retired by next Christmas, they had thought of going to the sales to buy some of next year’s gifts but the thought of having to box up whatever they bought, then store it until they move has put them off. No, they will continue to eat their way through the mince pies and chocolates, force feed themselves with stilton and port, watch the snow fall while keeping warm in the house they will have to leave soon and feel content that Christmas 2009 has come and gone.
